Pool equipment fails. When it does, you need someone who will tell you the truth about what is wrong, what it will cost, and what your options are. That is how we operate on every repair call.
Every repair starts with a proper diagnostic. We identify what is wrong, what caused it, and what the right fix is. Then we explain it to you in plain language and give you our honest recommendation.
We do not sell parts that are not needed. We do not recommend replacements when a repair will do. We do not inflate scope to increase ticket size. If the answer is to wait and monitor, we will tell you that too.
Informed repairs protect your equipment, protect your budget, and protect the relationship. That is the only kind we do.
Our Repair Manager, Mike Romero, has been referred to by Pentair's own field technicians for complex automation diagnostics. When Pentair's team encounters something outside their scope, they call Mike. That is not something we say lightly.
We work on Pentair IntelliCenter, EasyTouch, and automation systems across all major manufacturers. We diagnose control board failures, wiring issues, sensor problems, and integration failures between equipment and automation panels.
If another company told you something could not be fixed, it is worth getting a second opinion from us.
"Pentair sent their own technician out and he referred me to BIG Family Pools for the automation work. That told me everything I needed to know. Mike Romero solved in one visit what no one else could figure out."

We handle diagnostics and repairs across all major pool equipment categories: pumps, motors, heaters, heat pumps, automation systems, control boards, salt cells, filters, valves, and lighting systems.
We also perform full equipment installations and upgrades. If your equipment is aging and you want to modernize the system, we can walk you through the options and install what makes sense for your pool and your budget.
All repair work comes with a clear written scope before we start. No surprises on the invoice.
"Mike C caught a wiring issue that would have burned out my pump motor. He fixed it on the spot and saved me thousands. That is the kind of thing you do not get from a company that is just trying to get through the day."
